About
For nearly 20 years, the Covenant House Candlelight Vigil for Homeless Youth has honored the memories of all the young people who died alone and anonymously on the streets of our towns and cities.
But it has also been a symbolic light to guide homeless kids to a life off the streets and to the open doors of Covenant House.
Please, help make this year's light shine even brighter; light your candle today.

Not sure why you should get involved?
Because everyday people really can make a difference. Over the years our vigil participants have helped:
- Bring attention to the national crisis of youth homelessness and call for greater advocacy on behalf of homeless youth struggling everyday to survive;
- Send a message to kids still on the streets letting them know that there is a place to find immediate help and healing;
- Raise funds for programs providing vital services—shelter, counseling, transitional living, health services and educational/vocational training to over a million homeless kids. Please help strengthen these programs even more by making a donation now.
What is Covenant House?
Founded in 1972, Covenant House has reached more than one million young people with immediate assistance and the support necessary to move from a life on the streets to a life with a future. Learn more about our history and mission.
