At Saint Joseph's College, in the College Chapel, 1498 S. College Avenue, Rensselaer, IN.
Saint Joseph's College will be hosting its 16th annual Candlelight Vigil for Covenant House. Men's and women's soccer teams will be sponsoring their annual "Pumas take off their shirts to stop the hurt---for the kids of Covenant House" T-shirt drive, new or gently used t-shirts will be collected for the kids of Covenant House. Mayor Arihood will proclaim the day of the vigil "Covenant House Day" in Rensselaer. The Saint Augustine Elementary School choir will take part in the vigil by sharing their music. College students will offer readings, reflections and prayers during the vigil.

There will be a march beginning at 5:30 pm from the Covenant House Crisis Shelter at 460 West 41st Street to Times Square. All are welcome. Please don't forget to dress warmly.
If you can't join us in person, then you can still be with us in spirit by lighting a candle in your own home at precisely 6:15 pm. Eastern Standard Time.
New Orleans
Thursday, November 17 for Dining Out to End Homelessness
November is National Homelessness Awareness Month. In honor of the many homeless people in New Orleans, especially homeless youth, who need our help, please join us by dining out at one of the wonderful participating restaurants. Restaurants taking part in this event will be donating 20% of their profits from November 17th to Covenant House New Orleans. And we are so grateful for their commitment to this cause!
So please join us! It's a great way to help the homeless youth we serve and a fun way to do it! Make it a family date or just a fun get together with friends! And it'll be even more enjoyable knowing that you are helping us continue to help so many homeless youth in need.
...Iris, Mike's on the Avenue, Nirvana and Applebees are just a few restaurants taking part.
