Host a Vigil
Light a candle to tell the world you care about homeless youth.
Millions of homeless kids are still living on the streets. Organize a vigil within your community or host a candlelight dinner party in your home. Both are meaningful and both will shed light on the dark lonely lives of these young people.
On November 20, 2008 join us online, in person, or host your own Vigil.
A Community Vigil
This type of vigil, held at your local church, school, park or public gathering place, usually involves a large number of people within your community. You can organize this alone or as a group.
The Community Vigil Kit provides you with posters, promotional information, checklists, agendas and other host materials to help you organize your event. We'll even list your vigil on this site.
A Candlelight Dinner
Held in your home, a "Candlelight Dinner" vigil is a smaller, more intimate gathering. This type of event allows you more freedom to create your own expression of support for homeless kids.
The Candlelight Dinner Kit includes a wide array of host materials such as posters, promotional information and checklists to help you organize a truly meaningful event.
