Host a Candlelight Dinner

Whether you've been involved with Covenant House for years or you are simply passionate about helping the one million homeless kids who will sleep on the streets tonight, hosting a Candlelight Dinner is your chance to make a difference and inspire others.

It's up to you what kind of a dinner party to hold … plan a formal sit down meal, throw a potluck or try something unconventional like a "high tea," a brunch, a wine and cheese gathering or a decadent dessert night. Just remember to incorporate candlelight to symbolize the unity of friendship and to create your own beacon of hope for homeless kids.

If you would like to host a Candlelight Dinner in your home, please get started now … follow these three easy steps:

  1. Contact us to let Covenant House know you are planning an event.
  2. Follow the instructions to help organize and host the perfect candlelight dinner party.
  3. Use our Vigil Kit.pdf to help engage your guests before, during and after your event.
